Funding Database—Search for funding opportunities available through NIH and private foundations. NIH funding opportunities may be searched by name or submission deadline. Information provided about awards includes dollar amounts, deadlines, contact information web site addresses. Links to Molis, Fedix, and The Foundation name are also provided.

Journal Database—Includes comprehensive information on dozens of journals relevant to drug abuse research. Search for journals by subject including Addiction, Alcohol, Drugs, HIV/AIDS, Treatment, and more. The journal database can help you decide where to publish your research and find out how to obtain copies of journal articles.

Bookstore—Books on grant writing, statistics, mentoring, and more that you can buy online. We've done the searching for you!

Human Subjects The NIH has made a series of revisions to its guidelines for researchers. The comprehensive regulations are available online.

Keep abreast of the latest human subjects information by joining the NIH listserv on the topic.

Applying for a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant or contract? The Human Subjects requirements for these funding mechanisms have expanded considerably. Follow this link for an NIH resource on the human subjects sections for these funding mechanisms.
